Electronic visit verification (EVV) is coming to your state as early as 2019! The newly enacted "21st Century Cures Act" will penalize states that have not implemented EVV beginning in 2019. EVV is a system that requires providers to confirm that services were actually delivered and to do so through a possible variety of electronic methods for each service. Part of the 21st Century Cures Act calls for stakeholder engagement as systems are created. Make sure you have all the information you need to be a part of your state’s planning for implementation!
