    Greetings,

While celebrating our gratitude in support of our DSPs in Maine, one individual approached me and inquired about support for those DSPs in Florida.  Specifically, he asked if there was a plan to support those DSPs who are busily supporting individuals with disabilities at the expense of taking care of their own families and homes.

I told him I was not aware but that I would post this on the ANCOR blog site.  Can anyone tell me if there is something planned for them?  Or possibly a fund to offset insurance deductible expenses or any type of fund to assist them?

We have asked our state associations in Florida and Texas to let us know a charity to target where we can designate our donations to go to assist staff and individuals supported. Texas is working on this but Florida is still bery much in crisis with rising flood waters.  They are in need of alternate shelter and generators.

We will let our members know as soon as we jear back from them. Thank you for your support!
